Student Travel Grant Program
The CRS Kinam Park Student Travel Grants aim to promote the connectivity by providing travel grants to promising students in the field of delivery science around the world to attend the 2018 CRS Annual Meeting. The amount of the award(s) will be based upon the number of accepted applicants and funds available. The Kinam Park Travel Grants will be distributed to awardees at the 2018 CRS Annual Meeting in New York City, NY, U.S.A.

2018 Travel Grant Honoree
Kinam Park received his Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutics from University of Wisconsin in 1983. After postdoctoral training at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the same university, he joined the faculty of Purdue University in 1986. He became the Showalter Distinguished Professor of Biomedical Engineering in 2006. He has studied drug delivery systems for three decades with the research focus on the use of polymers for controlled release formulations. He is the founder of Akina, Inc. specializing in specialty polymers used in drug delivery systems and biomedical devices. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Controlled Release.
Travel Grant Eligibility
The Kinam Park Student Travel Grants are available to current CRS Student and Postdoc members only that have been accepted to present (either as an oral or poster) at the 2018 CRS Annual Meeting in New York. Award selection will be based on the quality of the applicant's science reflected in their research abstract, impact statement, and curriculum vita.
